A day at a time

Since David has been home, every day seems SOOooooo.... long. I don't know why it is that way. It is nice having extra help around the house but every day is like a Saturday, full of chores. Today I painted the bathroom a more "neutral" color and it looks much better. David said he didn't like the puke green it was before anyway. He then proceeded to say that my sister picks out some weird colors. I then had to tell him that it was one that I had chosen. Oh well... now it is a nice beige... like the rest of the house. Now all I have to do is re-paint the trim in the rest of the bathroom, then clean it and that room will be ready to go.
In other news... David had an interview today. He applied for some hospitals in the Phoenix area and got a call back for a phone interview with Desert Samaritan today. Now he has a second interview that we will actually go up to Phoenix for. Keep your fingers crossed that he gets it. It sounds like a nice job of adult/pediatric pharmacy. The hours aren't the greatest, but we'll take what we can get. New grads never get the best pickin's for hours at the hospitals. I guess you have to put the time in before you get the good shifts.
Timothy did a new trick today. While sitting at the dinner table he was covering his eyes (with his messy hands) and then yelling boo and uncovering his eyes. Alexis was laughing and of course had to join in on the fun. She gets very jealous for attention. If Timothy makes us laugh she will do something to "one-up" him to get laughs. The competition begins. We have some fun kids that are growing up fast. I guess I best just enjoy the boogerie noses and slobbery kisses while I can. One day at a time...

I'm impressed you painted a bathroom with two kids running around! Having your husband around does seem like an endless Saturday. I always think I should be getting odd jobs done since he's around to help/help with Trevor but it does get old.
